I love to quilt in the winter when time allows. I have been quilting for about 25 years and used to own a quilt shop. Right now my favorite fabric line is Thimbleberries Lodge and Lake from 2008...I bought 20 bolts or about 300 yards of it! It takes about 10 yards a quilt so I have my work cut out for me. Last winter I made four of the grandkids (out of 18) quilts for Christmas and one for hubs...five quilts all queen size from Sept to December...it was eight hours a day but worth it!

I lovequilting but can't do it with little ones around. The pins, scissors I take the time to set-up, etc and have no time to quilt. I have beautiful fabric all washed and ready but no time. I do love them though. Espcially jewel tones or blue ones.
