| That's the problem, jimmy is charismatic(sp) I find that true personalities appear on screen, even if you've never met the person IRL. Just like Twisted, she's a good egg, but she doesn't want any one to know it. | |

I figured that it wasn't. I didn't think you were the type to be needlessly mean. It's easy for people to take things the wrong way on forums and the like, don't let it bother you too much.

| Wow, Hoodie, I didn't know you were expecting! Its a boy? Grats!!!I have 2 girls and my youngest is a boy. The girl were both born almost 2 weeks past their due dates, but the boy was right on time! Boys are sooo much easier to raise. You're about 6 months along, right? Hehehehe, you think you feel blimpish now, wait til you hit about 8 months Now that I have my tubes tied, I like to go around and secretly lol at the pregnant ladies waddling around. | |

| MJ, you're just mean. lol Thank you. This is our first and we're very excited. I keep hearing that boys are easier. 6 months almost on the dot, and I'm not feeling too bad... a little cranky sometimes and pretty sore in my back after working/standing for any length of time. I'm sure it'll only get worse as I get blimpier. | |

| Never underestimate the power of touch! When I was pregnant and had an aching back or my ankles swelled I felt even more worn than usual. Having a friend or my husband (now ex-husband, the only thing he did right was pregnancy and childbirth, lol)rub my back and/or my feet and ankles helped a lot. Its good for the heart and mind and does wonders for circulation. Being rubbed helped pep me up and reduce aches and pains as well as swelling. Some women are shy about asking, but its really essential to pregnant lady well being IMHO. Another thing that helped as I got farther along was a pillow collection to put behind and under my back and one for between my legs when I slept. My heating pad was my friend for the back aches, too. I remember when I had the first I felt so lonely after she was born. I had shared my body with the lil ingrate for 9 months and it was like having a constant companion. This was back in the day when babies were kept in the nursery and brought to mommy for feedings and to practice changing and bathing. When I had my second daughter, the hospital policy had changed and babies were with mommy 24/7. She was over 2 weeks after my due date and my labor was induced. By the time she was born I hadn't slept in over 36 hours and I did my labor and delivery with no pain meds, so I was pretty wiped out physically and mentally. She had no interest in sleeping and I actually begged the nurse to take her to the nursery so I could sleep, but no dice. So, its funny. With my first I really wanted her near me and with my second I really wanted them to take her so I could get just a little . As babies, they are all a bit different, but when they grow up a bit it really does seem boys are much easier. My son is 8 now and all he needs is food..lots and lots of food..a few hugs, to be reminded to put clean clothes on, and thats pretty much it. The girls have me pulling out my hair and wishing they had all been boys Last Mothers Day the kids did a book at school about their moms and everyone got a copy. The recurring theme for the boys was basically "I like my mom because she cooks and hugs me." Yeah, boys are so simple and easy to please. | |

| MJ, your anecdotes made me smile. I think hubby is almost afraid to touch me sometimes for fear that he'll somehow smoosh the baby. I've asked for back-rubs, but he's been so adamant that laying on my tummy is a very bad thing to do, so I get them sideways and they just aren't the same. I'm going to bug him for some rubs tonight. Sleeping so far doesn't seem to be a problem, but standing for long periods of time does. Sadly, work requires that I stand and bop around in hour-long intervals with 15-20 minute breaks in between. By the end of the night I'm very sore. Luckliy, it seems to go away after laying down for a spell, so it's stil bearable. Now, what it'll be like the bigger I get I have no idea. It's funny you should mention the lonely feeling. I've often wondered over this past little while if I'll feel empty or lonely when baby is born. You get so used to the constant moving around and feeling of one-ness. | |

| Because your bones literally spread when you carry a baby you may notice that when you sleep on your side your lower back and/or hips may hurt a bit. The pillow helps by lifting your top leg up to be more even with the hip line. Hopefully you won't have problem with that, some don't. I didn't til I had my 2nd and 3rd babies. My husband wasn't afraid to let me do anything I felt comfortable doing. Thats probably because I growled at him when he tried to be bossy or overprotective... I was a very hormonal and grumpy pregnant woman. I could cry one minute and want to be violent the next, lol. i also never lost a chance to remind him he owed me the rubbing, food and anything else I wanted because I was doing all the work for HIS son If I were you, I would enjoy laying on your tummy while you can! In another month or two, you won't be able to. I really missed that. When I had the babies the first thing I did was sleep on my tummy again. It felt like heaven! Amazing what you appreciate after not being able to do it for a while. | |

| I'm good. How did your mom's wedding go? That seems so strange to say that..... My mom is in the process of selling her home in PA and moving here to MI. If all goes as planned, she could be here in a month or so. Total change for me. She's never lived close to me, so it will be strange. Hopefully, we can find her a decent condo to settle in. She'll be here with us until she finds something. | |

| The wedding went pretty well. It was an outside wedding and it ended up getting pretty chilly outside, so the party was over and everyone was gone home by 11pm....but a good time was had by all.
It does sorta sound weird that it was my moms wedding, but to be fair, she's still pretty young to be the mom of an almost 32 year old woman. She's not even 50 yet....lol. Yes, my parents had me YOUNG! lol!
Thats great that your mom is moving close, it's always good to have your family close.
